The City:
Cardiff, Europe’s fastest growing Capital city, is rapidly becoming one of the most vibrant places in the UK but it has not lost its friendly small town feel.

Getting here:
Cardiff is easily accessible from the M4 motorway and benefits from good air and rail links. Cardiff International Airport is only a few miles away from Sounds In Motion and has regular European and domestic flights to many major cities such as London, Paris, Dublin and Glasgow. We are only five minutes drive from junction 33 of the M4 just off the A4232 (signposted Cardiff Airport).

Staying here:
Cardiff has a huge variety of places to stay from comfortable guesthouses to top of the range hotels. The St David's Hotel & Spa is situated in the Cardiff Bay area and the Hilton Hotel overlooks Cardiff Castle in the city centre. There are many other hotels all across the city and the Copthorne Hotel is right on our doorstep, a short walk away from the studios.

Eating out:
Many top class restaurants can be found in the city centre and the Bay areas with a good mix of restaurants representing nearly all possible nationalities. From traditional Indian curry houses to Italian, Chinese, Greek, Thai, French, Turkish or even Welsh there is something to suit everyone’s taste and pocket.

Drinking:
Cardiff has a huge array of pubs, bars and clubs of all types throughout the city. The trend towards sophisticated café bars allows you to enjoy a cappuccino and a bite to eat. During the spring and summer months some bars in the Café Quarter along Mill lane take on a continental feel as tables and chairs appear beneath umbrellas. That said, there are still plenty of traditional Cardiff Pubs & Clubs that serve the local specialties such as the famous locally brewed Brains bitter.

Sights and shops:

The city centre is surprisingly compact and most of it's sights and attractions are only a short walk apart. The impressive Millennium Stadium, home of Welsh rugby (and, currently, the FA Cup), the Museum and Cardiff Castle are all close by. There are many shopping malls around the city, a warren of well preserved Victorian arcades to explore and a large choice of cinema complexes as well as theatre, opera and comedy clubs.
